Principal's Message

Hello, Boxer families!

I’m so proud to serve as the Principal of Eastwood Academy High School—a school that I believe is truly one-of-a-kind. Every day, I’m inspired by the drive, brilliance, and heart of our students, and I’m honored to lead a campus where academic excellence and community go hand in hand.

My journey in education began over a decade ago as a teacher at Heights High School, and from the very beginning, I knew I wanted to help students find success beyond high school. That passion has guided me through every step—whether as an Assistant Principal in Austin, a Principal Apprentice at Chávez High School, or now here at Eastwood. I’ve always been committed to creating opportunities, opening doors, and helping students dream big and achieve even bigger.

Eastwood holds a special place in my heart because I see so much of myself in our students. Like many of them, I was a first-generation college student trying to figure things out as I went. I didn’t always have the answers, but I had mentors who believed in me—and that’s exactly the kind of leader I strive to be every day. I believe in our students’ potential, and I’m dedicated to ensuring they’re equipped for life after high school, whether that’s college, a career, or any path they choose.

It’s an exciting time to be part of the Eastwood family, and I’m grateful to serve a community that shares a deep love for learning, service, and growth. I look forward to continuing to meet all of you, hear your stories, and working together to make Eastwood even stronger!
